Extended health care benefits Treatments may be covered by extended health plans If booking treatments that require reimbursement by a benefits plan or third-party insurance, verify coverage- with your insurer - before booking your treatment. Cancellation Policy: A minimum of 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or appointment changes. Failure to provide this notice will result in a cancellation fee equivalent to 100% of the appointment rate. Appointments booked within 24 hours of the scheduled time, subject to the full cancellation fee.

Allison McGrath

Allison graduated from the 2200-hour massage program at MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy Calgary AB. (Canadian Registered Massage Therapist Association accredited college). (https://crmta.ca)

Allison has 13 years of post-grad continuing education, complementing a comprehensive understanding of acute and persistent pain, post-concussion & injury care, pre and post natal, stress and trauma care.

Allison is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (Complete Decongestive Therapy. Oncology Care, Lymphatic therapy: edema, pre and post-surgical, orthopaedics and cosmetic procedures.

Allison integrates hot/cold stones, IASTM (Instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization), dynamic cupping, craniosacral therapy, stretch therapy and lymphatic therapy as needed into each treatment.

When not working or taking courses, Allison spends her time outdoors, hiking, running, SUP and time with her family, horses and dog Walter.

If you are seeking reimbursement from a benefits plan or third-party insurance, please verify your coverage, with your insurer, before booking your appointment. Note that insurers may require therapists to have a CMTBC RMT # for treatment coverage, with unique requirements for each insurer’s group plan.

Please be aware that Allison is not a member of the College of Massage Therapists of BC, (not a BC Registered RMT) .

She is in the process of becoming a member of CMTBC. The title ‘Rmt’ and its variations are only to be used by cmtbc registrants in the province of bc. Appointments are subject to the full cancellation fees if booked and then cancelled on short notice - (within 24 hrs of appointment time) because of Insurance coverage concerns..

Allison is a member in good standing with a provincial and national massage therapy association and follows strict professional guidelines outlined by the CMTA - Canadian Massage Therapist Association (www.crmta.ca) - and mandated by her massage therapy associations.

It’s important to know that all therapists, whether regulated or unregulated, whose Professional Associations are members of the CMTA must meet the same standards of practice competence, ethics, and quality of care.
