We do not have a receptionist at this time. Please send a Text for time sensitive communication. Text messages are responded to in between appointments as time permits. Email returns and voicemail call backs- by the end of each business day.

Cancellation policies - 24 hrs notice is required for change or cancellations. Appointments cancelled within 24 hrs subject to a cancellation fee of full cost of treatment. Direct Billing is available for Subsequent/ Return Visits If you would like to bill your insurer for subsequent appointments, please provide your insurance information (company, policy, and plan number) on the online intake form. Please note that while we direct bill most private insurers, we do not provide direct billing for ICBC, WCB, or MSP. Patients will be provided with a receipt by email at time of payment, and can submit for reimbursement to all insurers.

An Infectious Disease/Health Screening survey will be sent to all patients to complete before arriving for your scheduled appointment time..

Registered Massage Therapy is a clinically-oriented, manual therapy healthcare option that aims to alleviate pain and discomfort associated with activities of daily living, sports injuries, stress, traumas, accidents, occupational, repetitive stress or overuse injuries, and many acute/persistent (chronic) pain conditions and syndromes and many medical conditions.

A Registered Massage Therapy appointment time includes:
1. Review of health history
2. Assessments/ reassessments
3. Treatment plan & signed consent for treatment
5. Manual therapy
6. Patient education, home care prescription, rehabilitative exercises
7. Payment, rebooking

RMT's in BC must adhere to:
a) CMTBC’s (Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics.) CCHPBC (College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC)
b) The requirements of the Health Professions Act and regulations made under the Act.
c) Standards of professional conduct.
d) CMTBC’s quality assurance program, which ensures ongoing professional currency and development.

Allison is an experienced therapist of 14 years, with a passion for lifelong learning.

She has an extensive range of training and experience with acute and persistent pain, therapeutic massage, rehabilitative therapies and manual therapy modalities.

Her preferred area of practice is with acute and persistent pain, injury, stress, trauma, pre/postnatal care, autoimmune and neurological conditions, long covid, lymphatic care and lymphedema therapy CDT, oncology massage and post-concussion care.

Allison has adopted a biopsychosocial approach to care that considers the whole person rather than just the symptomatic areas of pain or dysfunction. She provides treatment based on her patients unique goals utilizing and integrating the appropriate therapy, modalities or techniques that would be best suited for their needs.

Allison focuses her current studies and research in pain science, the biospychosocial aspects of healing and the brain/ nervous system connection to pain and recovery.

Additionally, she continues to pursue training in trauma-informed care to better support patents’ needs and to provide a safe, inclusive practice.

Outside of work and continuing her studies, Allison enjoys a active outdoor lifestyle with her family, horses, and her dog Walter.

Allison is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of BC (CMTBC) now amalgamated its the newly formed College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC (CCHPBC).
